coming april 6: fohh to present dennis carmichael on “hollin hills and the modern landscape”
Join Friends of Hollin Hills on Sunday, April 6 for a talk by the well-known landscape architect Dennis Carmichael. The event, which takes place at the Mount Vernon Unitarian Church, starts with a 4 pm reception, and features a 5 pm talk by Carmichael on “Hollin Hills and the Modern Landscape.”
The speaker, who has lived in Hollin Hills for nearly forty years, is the author of the essay “A Landscape of Democracy,” and of the book “A House in the Woods: A Landscape Aesthetic for Hollin Hills.”
