hollin hillers rock the speed and style festival, and oh my god look at these pictures

Tom Kuester and Mohra Gavankar, dressed to drive.

Sunday May 19 was the annual Speed & Style Festival, again an amazing success, drawing approximately 40,000 people, exhibiting 120 fantastic cars, and providing a fun fashion demonstration that included four Hollin Hills residents as models.

Mohra Gavankar and I were in a ‘senior’ category and were paired with a very rare Apollo.  We drew much applause from the crowd, because Mohra looked absolutely stunning in a vintage black and gold coat that no doubt became more photographed than the $5 million dollar Ferrari F40.  Our Hollin Hills social chairs Roxy Hoveyda and Matt Kies were paired with a Citroen that took 6 years to restore to perfect condition. Neither Matt nor Roxy needed restoration work — they looked fabulous without help.

This was a charity event with money raised going to two local charities, Alexandria Alive and Community Lodgings. The event was free to the public. I hope you came out to see us, but if not, there will be another festival May 18, 2025. I hope you can make it then.

The sixties are back! Picture-perfect Roxy Hoveyda and Matt Kies, with picture-perfect Citroen.
