Wearing History: Jeremy Kenney Unveils Line of Hollin Hills Tees

Holiday shopping alert! Hollin Hiller Jeremy Kenney has set up a cool little t-shirt shop on Etsy, offering almost a dozen original Hollin Hills designs that feature everything from butterfly roofs to architect Charles Goodman’s face.

Why a Hollin Hills shirt? So we can “wear the history we walk through every day,” says Jeremy, who’s lived on Rippon Road since 2018. And he’s just added a new design with the classic “interlocking H” pattern, which we all know and love from our blue-and-white bumper stickers …. but whose origins are shrouded in legend.

“Some say the logo was created for the Hollin Hills neighborhood watch,” says Jeremy. “Others say it was created during the gas crisis of the 1970s. I say, it's now available on a tee shirt!”

The new design runs $25 a pop, and 100% of the profits go to the Civic Association of Hollin Hills, so you can look super-stylish and also do a good deed for the community. Win-win!

Curious? Check out HollinHillsTees on Etsy and have a look (the shop is a personal neighbor-to-neighbor project, says Jeremy, and is not affiliated with the CAHH).
